FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Each stylist and beauty professional at Myrna Rose operates independently and manages their own schedule. To book an appointment, simply select your artist and click their booking link to schedule directly with them.

  • At this time, we do not accept walk-ins. Myrna Rose is a stylist-led salon without a traditional front desk, so appointments are booked directly with each independent artist. We encourage guests to book online in advance using the stylist’s individual booking link. Or email, or call/text in advance.

  • We are currently working with the City of Hutto on plans for a main parking area directly in front of the property. In the meantime, parking is available in the detached garage on Pecan Street, along Pecan Street itself, or in the public city parking located on Pecan Street and East Street, just one block away from the salon.

    From there, you may walk around to the front entrance on FM 1660 and enter through the main staircase, or use the side entrance off Pecan Street.

  • If you are interested in renting a chair or private suite at Myrna Rose Salon, we invite you to start by reaching out directly. From there, we schedule a conversation and a tour to ensure the space is a good fit for both you and the salon.

    Because we are intentional about our community and culture, availability is limited and placements are made thoughtfully.

OUR HISTORY

Before it became a salon, this house was a home.

Built in 1908, the Mauritz Mansion has lived many lives. It has witnessed generations, gatherings, quiet moments, and change over more than a century in Hutto, Texas. Rather than erase that history, we chose to preserve it and learn from it.

Here we’ve documented the story of the house itself. The people who lived here. The architectural details that remain. The photographs, records, and memories that surface as restoration continues. Some stories are well documented. Others are still unfolding.

We believe spaces carry memory, and that honoring the past adds depth to what exists today.
